Getting up early in the morning is an excellent habit to get into, though it can be really difficult to get used to, especially if you have struggled with rising early in the past. If you want to break the habit and become a morning person then there are a few things that you can do to make it easier.
Getting up early without feeling tired requires changing your sleeping habits in general. You cannot keep going to bed at the same time if you want to start getting up earlier. If you want to get up an hour earlier, then you are going to have to go to bed an hour earlier, there is no way around this unfortunately.
Also, you will need to develop good night time habits. Do not drink caffeine at night. Eat dinner earlier in the night, ensuring that there is at least three hours between your meal and going to bed. Try to do something relaxing before going to sleep, like having a bath or reading a book. Finally, try to go to bed at the same time at night, the body loves predictable patterns.
If you follow all these basic guides then you will be able to turn yourself into an early morning person.
